Job Duties

The On-Call – Test Proctor (AP) at Schoolcraft College is responsible for:

  1. Facilitating the
    administration of national AP exams.
  2. Following required examination instructions.
  3. Organizing and maintaining accurate test
    materials.
  4. Complete required reports as directed by supervising proctors.
  5. Maintaining security of testing environment and
    testing materials.

Required Qualifications


  1. High school diploma.

  1. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • Writing Skills: Ability to write reports, business
    correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,
    professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively present
    information and respond to questions from prospective and current employees, and groups of managers.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability
    to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute
    rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal
    with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Environment: This role may involve being in a stationary position in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse (or applicable equipment)

    and walking for periods of time, and the use of hands and moving objects on occasion, of up to 10-20 lbs.
  • Noise Level: The noise
    level in the work environment is usually moderate.
