The Instructor will be primarily responsible for supporting the instructional program with specific responsibility
for facilitating learning within elementary science classrooms and other assigned areas; developing engaging, hands-on lesson plans aligned
with curriculum standards; delivering group and individual instruction; supervising students; collaborating with teachers, professional
staff, and administrators regarding instructional and classroom needs; and communicating with parents or guardians regarding student
progress and learning experiences.

- Provide part-time elementary science instruction for students in grades K-6
- Develop and implement engaging,
age-appropriate science lessons and laboratory experiences aligned with curriculum standards - Facilitate inquiry-based and hands-on
learning experiences that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, observation, and problem-solving - Create a positive and supportive
classroom environment that promotes scientific exploration and student engagement - Integrate STEM practices, technology,
demonstrations, and collaborative learning activities into instruction - Support the development of scientific literacy through
experiments, data collection, discussion, and project-based learning - Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning
needs and developmental levels - Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support interdisciplinary learning
connections - Assess student learning and provide feedback regarding academic progress and skill development
- Supervise
students during instructional activities and maintain appropriate classroom safety procedures for elementary science instruction
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
- Valid Missouri
Elementary Teaching Certificate required - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Education, Science Education, or related field
required; Master’s degree preferred - Prior elementary teaching experience required
- Experience teaching elementary science
required - Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills preferred
