Pay Rate/Range: The budgeted salary range that the University
reasonably expects to pay for this position is $28.88 – $34.10/hr. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and
experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University. The full
salary range for this position is $28.88 – $49.76/hr.

Brief Summary of Job Duties:



Under general supervision, the Payroll Analyst uses critical thinking,
analytical, and problem solving skills to research, analyze and develop solutions to a wide range of complex campus payroll and general
ledger questions, issues, and concerns. Researches and troubleshoots business processes and system issues and demonstrates good judgment in
selecting methods and techniques for obtaining resolution within tight deadlines. Uses critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving
skills to administer the campus wide work authorization program and processes required by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Reviews and analyzes all documents submitted by employees to support their citizenship status and makes decisions on the acceptability and
validity of the documents in accordance with guidelines set forth by USCIS. Timing is essential and the Analyst must work closely with
campus departments to track and ensure employees complete work authorization documentation by strict deadlines. Consequences of error or
non-compliance could result in civil fines and/or criminal penalties and/or debarment from government contracts.
