Remote Real Estate Counsel

The Company is expanding rapidly and looking for talented, entrepreneurial team members to grow with us. nnnReal Estate Counseln nREPORTING TO:                                 Managing Director, LegalnLOCATION:                                           Remoten nTHE TEAM:nWe seek a real estate attorney with demonstrated success in executing business strategy, accelerating a pipeline of transactions to closing, and exercising sound judgment to assess and manage portfolio risk.  The attorney will interact regularly with team members from senior management, origination, pricing, and property management, while working remotely from their home office. n nTHE JOB:nnnLeading efforts to support the origination and closing of renewable energy real estate assets in the US. nManaging a pipeline of deals across the United States and facilitating dialogue between pricing, origination, legal, and the management team.nNegotiating and drafting documents for commercial real estate transactions. nConducting due diligence activities and underwriting assets for lease terms, projected cash flow, and facility information.nAdvising on strategic transactions and commercial mattersn nREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:nnn4-8 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, including at mid to large-sized law firm, is required.nExperience with solar/wind ground leases and/or wireless leases is a plus.nFluent with technology and remote work.nuris Doctor and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.n nMust be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.n nPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:nThe successful candidate must bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture, including:nnnEntrepreneurial and collaborative team spirit.nA love of adventure and passion for learning.nDemonstrated ability to prioritize deal flow and exercise sound business judgment.nOutstanding oral, written, and analytical skills.nRespect for colleagues and sense of humor.n nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:nCompetitive compensation package with benefits including tax-free health insurance reimbursement (ICHRA), 401k, remote work, paid holidays, and paid time off.nnnnnn$150,000 – $200,000 a yearn
