Registered Nurse (200)

The Registered Nurse should have a passion for severe mental illness and will be a part of the
multi-disciplinary team that provides care to patients experiencing their first episode of psychosis at the Early Psychosis Intervention
Clinic.

Responsibilities
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram,
or scheduled form
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in outpatient
settings
* Knowledge of computer programs for clinical data entry
* Self-motivated with good organizational skills
* Ability to
work with a diverse population
* Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed

Qualifications
*
Registered nurse with current Louisiana licensure by date of hire
* Two (2) years nursing experience including one (1) year of experience
in an outpatient clinical setting
* Phlebotomy certification
* Experience with agencies where mental healthcare is delivered to
adolescents and young adults
* Experience with care delivery to patients with psychotic disorders
