Pay Range
Compensation for this position is expected to range between $24.00 and $26.00 per hour, in alignment with what California Baptist University (CBU) reasonably anticipates paying for this role. The final rate may vary depending on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and prevailing market conditions. Summary
This position will support the Director of Ticketing by managing day-to-day operations of the CBU Box Office by providing excellent customer service digitally, over the phone and in person including answering customer questions, responding to customer inquiries through digital platforms, and assisting with a walk-up customers pre-game or day of event.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Manage and operate ticketing system (currently Paciolan/TicketsWest), which includes, but is not limited to, event building, ticket and promotion configuration, user security, ticket design and proofing.
2. Communicate with donors, general public, students, and faculty-staff on a regular basis to resolve seating needs, complaints, and staff support.
3. Assist the Compliance Office in enforcement of NCAA regulations as they relate to ticketing for home competitions to include recruits, high school coaches, players, families, general public, and donors.
4. Implement individual game, season ticket, and group sales strategies for athletic ticketed sporting events with an emphasis on growing fan base and revenue.
5. Develop and execute sales and marketing plans including the design and implementation of all comprehensive season ticket and group sales strategies.
6. Assist in establishing annual revenue goals and implementing initiatives to increase attendance and ticket sales across all sports.
7. Manage ticketing operations for assigned athletic events and various on-campus events including printing of tickets, managing complimentary pass lists, managing group ticket lists, overseeing will-call operations, managing student workers, and reconciling cash with detailed financial reports at the closing of days’ business operations.
8. Coordinate with various members of the athletics department including, but not limited to: marketing, communications, media production, development, facilities and event management.
9. Prepare regular ticket sales audits and reports through ticket system to reflect revenue and attendance at CBU events.
10. Organize duplicate customer accounts, working with the campus departments to keep records up-to-date, and assisting customers with address changes throughout the year.
11. Work with CRM tools to track customer interactions, segment fanbases, and deploy targeted ticketing campaigns in coordination with marketing and development.
12. Coordinate event logistics as needed with other event staff to ensure operational readiness, efficiency, and resource utilization for the consistent fulfillment of services related to ticketing and satisfactory customer service.
13. Assist the Associate Athletic Director for External and Corporate Relations with corporate sponsorship sales and service initiatives.
14. Identify and qualify prospective corporate partners; maintain and update a comprehensive prospect database.
15. Support the development and preparation of sponsorship proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
16. Coordinate and execute sponsorship activations, ensuring fulfillment of contractual obligations.
17. Provide account support for assigned partners, including communication, service, and renewal assistance.
18. Maintain and track sponsorship inventory, including signage, digital assets, and in-game promotional elements.
19. Assist in the preparation of post-event and annual partnership reports, including performance metrics and proof of fulfillment.
20. Ensure all sponsorship activities comply with institutional policies, conference guidelines, NCAA regulations, and partner exclusivity agreements.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position could be responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to part-time Student Workers, in order to complete work assignments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit; and requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard or other office equipment. Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers; and speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the phone. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment, with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
