Responsibilities:


The Senior Secretary assists in managing the College of Aviation in a
proficient, professional, and effective manner on a day-to-day basis. Duties include but are not limited to, maintaining confidential office
files on students and personnel. Coordinating with faculty and advisors for student advising. Submitting bi-weekly payroll for flight
instructors and related staff. Maintaining division budgets and records, coordinating purchases for flight operations and the campus office,
preparing and tracking travel requests. Ensuring the campus office is adequately staffed during all operational hours, scheduling events,
supervising student workers, and facilitating tours for prospective students. Coordinating with custodial staff and Facilities Management
for routine maintenance issues, greeting students, faculty, staff and other visitors, responding to emails, and answering the phone.
Submitting documentation and other workflow requests as needed.

This position also services as test proctor for the
Professional Service Industries (PSI) testing center



Qualifications:

  • High School
    degree or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous office or related experience required. Proficiency
    in Microsoft Office software required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required. Attention to
    detail necessary. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple work request simultaneously. Ability to adapt to the various needs of the
    division.

Salary:
Commensurate with experience and qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

High School degree or GED required. Previous office experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office software required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required. Ability to prioritize tasks and
handle multiple work request simultaneously. Ability to adapt to the various needs of the division.



Preferred
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous office experience preferred. Professional or industry certification
in Microsoft Office software. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required. Ability to prioritize tasks
and handle multiple work request simultaneously. Ability to adapt to the various needs of the division. Experience as a test
proctor.
