Description
- Part time physician to diagnosis and treat students in need of remedial and preventive medical care at the
Student Health Center - Able to Examine students to determine nature and extent of illness
- Order or execute various tests,
analyses, and x-rays to provide information on student’s condition - Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination and
diagnose condition - Administer and prescribe treatments and drugs
- Advice students concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for
prevention of disease - Guide and counsel in minor emotional problems and, where applicable, refer students to other specialist as
needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a license to practice medicine in the State of Missouri is
necessary. - Successful completion of an allopathic or osteopathic residency program approved by the Accreditation Council for
Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and board certification, or the ability to prove active
pursuit of board certification by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications
- A
collaborative, whole center, team-based approach to provide exceptional healthcare and ensure a top-tier student experience - Comfort
and experience with open-access scheduling models - Experience with and preference for working within an integrated primary care and
mental health model - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate
with patients, staff, and colleagues
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this
position has been established as $150 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the
individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
