Description:
Responsible for setting up the service areas, serving customers during meal
services, sanitation, dish room duties, and overall support of the Lottie Dining Hall front of house serving area.
Primary
Duties
1. Follow proper food handling procedures and keep work area clean and sanitized
2. Set up the serving area
according to the menu and defined standards
3. Ensure all service ware is set where required
4. Serve customers following the
customer service guidelines of Dining Services
5. Ensure the food and serviceware maintains the quality standards of Dining Services
6. Maintain open lines of communication with cooks regarding food production
7. Understand the use and care of all equipment and
report failures to Management
8. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Secondary Duties
1. Attend
department meetings and training sessions as scheduled
2. Other duties as assigned.

1. General understanding food service and customer service

Neat and clean appearance

Special Working Conditions
Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Must be mentally and physically able to
perform all essential job functions which require walking, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting.
