UW-Green Bay welcomes the submission of credentials from persons interested in
administrative support temporary university staff positions as they occur on campus. This posting does not apply to a specific current
opening. Respondents to this posting will be included in a general administrative support temporary pool. Job duties may include general
office assistance and administrative support for individual departments at UW-Green Bay.
Key Job
Responsibilities:
- Tracks, stocks, orders, and inventories office supplies to ensure adequate materials are available for
workplace operation
- Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to
established policies and procedures
- Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work
unit operations
- Serves as first point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic organizational information via
phone, in person, and through other communication mediums, routing more complex inquiries to the appropriate
entities
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication, organizational and
administrative skills - Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook)
- Capacity
to work autonomously and in a self-directed fashion - Detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
simultaneously - Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making
Conditions of Appointment:
A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be
conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). In compliance with the Wisconsin

immediately, and employees are fully vested after 5 years of service. The Universities of Wisconsin also provides supplemental retirement

In addition, eligible employees receive several types of paid leave
benefits, which are prorated for employees working less than 100%. This includes 9 legal holidays, 36 hours of personal holiday and between

Employee Misconduct
All

being from a manager or supervisor, during the interview process. All final candidates must be asked, prior to hire, whether they have been
found to have engaged in, are currently under investigation for, or left employment during an active investigation in which they were
accused of employee misconduct, sexual violence or sexual harassment. When obtaining employment reference checks, these same misconduct,
sexual violence or sexual harassment questions must also be asked.
