Position Highlights


The Department of Family and Community Medicine’s Mobile Health division seeks a driver with a CDL-A endorsement to operate our mobile health units in areas around Southern Arizona, where we provide regular health screenings and services to underserved populations. Basic customer service and some regular maintenance are required.

  • This is an Extended Temporary Position lasting for Two Years

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Drives the Mobile Health rig and transports providers and staff to various locations throughout Southern Arizona.
  • Makes pre-trip inspection of vehicle in compliance with state regulations.
  • Maintains cleanliness of station and garage area.
  • Keeps vehicle and passenger logs.
  • Provides customer service to the public and to providers and staff of the Mobile Health program.
  • Performs service and maintenance of university vehicles such as cleaning interior and exterior, changing oil and lubing vehicle or changing tires and light bulbs.
  • Locates and picks up vehicle parts.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications


  • HS Diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
  • Arizona CDL-A License (Commercial Driver’s License) is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report


In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
