ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, TALENT
ACQUISITION, Human Resources Department, to lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of MIT’s central
Talent Acquisition function in a highly decentralized recruiting environment. Responsible for setting business strategy, developing and
ensuring compliance with talent acquisition policies, and establishing governance frameworks that support the Institute’s hiring goals. Will
work closely with academic and administrative leadership to ensure central HR recruitment strategies align with Institute priorities,
rapidly changing workforce trends, HR analytics, and increasingly complex compliance regulations; co-manage critical vendor partnerships
with Strategic Sourcing (29+ Million in annual spend), establishing performance expectations, service-level agreements, and compliance
requirements; and ensure seamless integration with Oracle Cloud while maintaining full recruiting functionality in PeopleFluent throughout
the transition, drive user adoption across MIT, and align central Talent Acquisition resources to support new functionality. Additionally,
this position leverages hiring analytics to measure performance, engages with community and stakeholder partners across MIT’s divisions, and
leads the Talent Acquisition teams’ AI strategy and adoption to enhance recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree with a
minimum of seven years of progressively responsible HR experience with a demonstrated record of accomplishments in staffing/recruiting,
preferably in higher education or a matrixed environment; experience managing significant vendor relationships and contracts; experience
with talent acquisition platforms and reporting/analytics; strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; and knowledge of
employment laws and regulations governing hiring, and experience leading a Talent Acquisition team in a higher education or research
environment. PREFERRED: Experience implementing an ATS or managing a new technology platform transition.
