Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Cook C for Dining Services.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists in the overall cooking operations of a unit.
- Assists in guiding and instructing cooks helpers, grill attendant, and Dining Service Worker B in the performance of a variety of food items following standardized procedures and schedules.

Minimum Education and Experience
- High school/vocational school education or equivalent plus one year varied cooking experience in large volume institutional or restaurant setting.
Certifications/Licenses
- Ability to pass the Food Handler’s Certification.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production work sheets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent customer services skills
- Line cooking experience.
