Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) offers one of the most forward-looking educational
environments in dental medicine in the country. Since its founding in 1868, TUSDM has been committed to leadership in education, patient
care, research, and community service. Students obtain an interdisciplinary education, integrated with medicine, with access to training in
dental specialties. Clinics managed at TUSDM provide quality comprehensive care to more than 20,000 individuals annually. Nationally and

oral health.

What You’ll Do


  • In collaboration with director, develops goals and strategies for a university
    program.
  • Provides and applies advanced, specialized subject matter knowledge to develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate the
    program.
  • Implements plans and evaluates progress, refining plans and makes changes to policies and procedures as
    necessary.
  • Oversees data management systems and evaluation/recommendation for system upgrades or enhancements.
  • Manages and
    analyzes budgets and prepares reports and projections. Assists director in writing grants and proposals for new funding opportunities or
    continued support.
  • Develops and oversees marketing, advertising, and external relations. Writes and designs program materials and
    newsletters. Oversees content and maintenance of website and designs and evaluates social media strategy.
  • Designs, and may deliver,
    seminars, lectures, and other special events.
  • Conducts research and drafts reports and results. Presents information and results to
    management, constituents, and sponsors.
  • Manages hiring and training of staff, evaluates workflow and productivity and conducts
    employee performance reviews.
  • Manages student services including admissions, registration, student academic progress and internship
    programs, providing advice and counsel to students about program options and requirements.

What We’re Looking
For

Basic Requirements:
Knowledge and experience typically acquired by:


  • Master’s
    Degree.
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in program subject matter.
  • Advanced
    organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation
    skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience.


Pay
Range



Minimum $79,600.00, Midpoint $99,600.00, Maximum $119,500.00

Salary is based on related experience, expertise,
and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
