Summary

Bobcat Depot strives to be a highly engaged and dedicated team, providing a customer-first mindset. They are
OHIO’s one-stop-shop for technology, apparel and gifts centrally located in Baker University Center. Bobcat Depot is an authorized Apple
Campus Store that is also an authorized reseller of Lenovo and Microsoft products.



Position Overview:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Bobcat Depot Manager with the operations of the Ohio University Bobcat
Depot. This position assists with management of Bobcat Depot student employees, OHIO ID card preparation and
distribution, and vendor management. This position’s responsibility is to ensure customer satisfaction, deal with customer
complaints/inquiries, and resolve any customer service issues directly related to the Bobcat Depot. Oversees Apple specific training to meet
vendor requirements for Apple sales, displays, and promotion. Assist with staff training to ensure employees properly follow health and
safety precautions. Advises supervisor on any location needs and provides valuable input for department and/or operational
policies.



Position Profile

Oversees retail operations at campus stores.
Procures inventory and maintains inventory records. Distributes equipment, materials, and supplies. Promotes store through a variety of
marketing strategies.

Provides professional expertise to the University
community. Serves as a resource and guide to others in the department and/or university. Completes operational tasks essential for the daily
functioning of the University. Additionally, contributes to larger projects or initiatives that align with department or University goals,
often collaborating across teams.



Supervisory Responsibilities

May assist in mentoring or
training new employees.


Fiscal Responsibilities

No budgetary responsibility. May be
responsible for validating transactions.

Handles a variety of problems with
some independence.

Some supervision; able to work independently on
routine tasks.

Collaborates with team members and shares
knowledge.


Physical Requirements

This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use
of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.



Minimum
Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3-5 years of related professional experience, or
equivalent education and experience.

Rate:
The proposed salary range for this position is $43,888 to $51,377. The salary negotiated at the time of offer will be
commensurate with education and experience while also considering internal equity. For more information on the pay structure and Pay
