Salary Range: The annual salary for this position is $57,500 and may be
up to 5% higher depending on relevant experience, education, and certifications when compared to others doing substantially similar work.


Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator assists in the planning and execution of various IT projects at all
campus locations.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Essential Functions

  • Coordinates department projects,
    including planning, tracking, best practices, feedback, and communication for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manages or
    assists with project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders; define scope, and objectives.
  • Coordinates and identifies project risks, dependencies, or issues; escalating as needed and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for project updates; preparing status reports, and presentations for college leadership and team
    members.
  • Provides comprehensive administrative support to the department by managing calendars, travel, meetings (booking,
    invitations, agendas), and expense reports.
  • Maintains department documentation, procedures, financial documents, knowledgebase
    articles and other internal data
  • Administrates cloud-based data storage, and the department SharePoint site.
  • Oversees
    and plans events, meetings and training activities
  • Maintains hardware and software license management, including tracking
    renewals.

    effectively with students, colleagues, and others.
  • Interacts professionally and respectfully with students, colleagues, and
    others.
  • Assesses individual and department work processes and recommends improvements.
  • Complies with State Fiscal
    Rules, State Board policies, System and College protocols, and departmental procedures.
  • Obtains and maintains proficiency with
    required systems and equipment.
  • Maintains confidentiality of student and employee information as required.
  • Completes
    all required compliance training within the established timeline.
  • Serves on committees and other groups as assigned.

Competencies/KSAs:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ticketing software or other tracking systems
  • Able to lift 15 pounds.
  • Able to read and communicate in English.
  • Mobility around campus.

Minimum Qualifications:



Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or
    an Associate’s degree and three years of related professional experience.


Experience

  • At least two years of related
    professional experience in project management and administration.
  • Experience in a higher education environment.
  • Experience with project management platforms (MS Project, Asana, Monday, Other).


Travel

  • Colorado Community College System
    offices in Denver
  • Fremont or Mancos, CO locations
  • Conferences within or outside of Colorado
  • Various
    locations within the college’s service area


Schedule

  • State business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Infrequent weekend and/or evening hours required

Selection Process:

PERA retirees are not eligible to fill this position except on an
