The Access and Testing Coordinator supports the mission of Student Accessibility Services by
ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities for students with disabilities. This position coordinates the accommodated testing
center operations for the Phoenix Health Sciences Campus, conducts interactive intake meetings, manages data in the SAS BlueAccess system,
evaluates accommodation requests, communicates approved accommodations, and collaborates with faculty, staff, and campus partners. The
Coordinator must demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to see tasks through from initiation to
completion.
Essential Functions:
Accommodated Testing Administration
o Manage the
Phoenix Testing Center, including coordination of all test appointments, oversight of the proctoring systems and direct test proctoring,
facilitation of specific test accommodations (e.g., readers or assistive technology), and receipt and return of tests to faculty.
o
Collaborate with faculty and Exams Team, if appropriate, to prepare quizzes, tests, exams in accessible formats. Facilitate
accessible-formatted assessments and textbooks (written materials), audio notes and/or notetakers, and other auxiliary aid needs for SAS
affiliated students.
Administrative & Case Management
o Serve as the Phoenix-based lead for the BlueAccess
software management tool and ensure that student data is accurate and secure.
o Maintain organized case notes, documentation, and
confidential records.
Student Engagement & Intakes
o Conduct interactive intake meetings with students to
gather relevant information regarding disability documentation, history of accommodations, and academic needs.
o Provide guidance and
support to students in understanding the accommodation process and available resources.
Professional Development &
Compliance
o Stay current with best practices, laws, and regulations in disability services in higher education.
o Assist
in department initiatives, trainings, and outreach to promote accessibility and inclusivity.
Student Success
Support
o Contribute to Student Success divisional efforts that support the persistence, retention, and overall success of
Creighton students as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work,
psychology, rehabilitation, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
* Demonstrated experience working with individuals with
disabilities.
* Experience in a higher education accessibility/disability services office preferred.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
* High level of
attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of assistive technology and alternative formats.
