OVERVIEW:
DeSales University, in Center Valley, PA, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic
university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre suburban campus is located 50 miles
north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles southwest of New York City. A total enrollment of nearly 3,500 includes undergraduate day and
evening students, and graduate students. DeSales has approximately 135 full-time faculty members and offers more than 40 bachelor’s degrees,
twelve graduate programs, and over 20 certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines; many of these can be completed fully

POSITION SUMMARY:
The
Administrative Assistant to the Waterbury-Reilly School of Business is responsible for the daily communication with students, staff, and
full and part-time faculty; supporting the teaching and professional work of full and part-time faculty in traditional undergraduate and
graduate programs; managing college and departmental logistics, office spaces, and supply orders; supports the dean and chairs in the
completion of staffing, offering, and contracting of courses; and supports recruitment initiatives for programs in the academic departments,
including the undergraduate and graduate programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous
management experience preferred - Perform duties independently and under direction of supervisors
- Demonstrate courteous
communications skills when assisting students and visitors - Maintain high degree of ethics and confidentiality
- Proficient
computer skills - Attendance at College and Department functions outside of standard work hours, as necessary
- Sensitive to
issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity - Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
