Summary of Job Duties:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day farming activities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to operating farm machinery and equipment for the purposes of plowing, disking, land planning and
planting row crops such as rice, soybeans, corn, grain sorghum, wheat and cover crops. This position will also be responsible for operating
heavy equipment such as but not limited to track hoe, backhoe, & road grader as well as operating grain trucks and trailers for the purpose
of hauling seed to grain elevators and UADA Foundation Seed destinations. Other duties will or could include irrigation, rouging, spraying
and harvesting crops. Assist in station equipment maintenance and upkeep. Assist in general station maintenance and upkeep which includes
shop, office buildings and station houses. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum: The
formal education equivalent of a high school diploma.
Preferred: At least 1 year experience in row crop farming. Must demonstrate the
ability to operate a grain truck with 42′ hopper bottom trailer. The ability to show up for work on time and daily.

Information:
Ability to work 40+ hours a week during planting and harvest seasons.
