- Supervisory experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Academic Coaching Operations and Procedures:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of coaching in general academic success (time management, organization, study strategies); ensure the services run smoothly, meeting the needs of face-to-face and online students in a timely and professional manner.
- Create and manage coach schedules; ensure staffing is appropriate to meet student needs. Ensure that program schedules and changes are kept up-to-date on the website and in the tracking system.
- Recruit, select, train, and evaluate qualified coaches. Oversee the onboarding employment process for new hires.
- Supervise coaches; provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure quality in coaching sessions. Develop, maintain, and monitor their work schedules. Ensure coaching sessions are accurately recorded in the tracking system.
- Manage coaching resources including equipment and technology.
Academic Alerts and Interventions:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Academic Resilience Program.
- Collaborate with Dean of Students (Care and Concern) and Center for Community and Student Success (Academic Referrals) to coordinate referral response for students on Academic Probation.
- Hire, train, and supervise graduate student staff.
- Organize and facilitate Academic Success Workshops for students on academic probation.
- Coordinate and execute specific outreach projects, such as call campaigns geared towards unenrolled students and students who have earned under a 2.0 semester GPA.
Other Student Success Initiatives:
- Collaborate closely with the Tutoring Coordinator, Supplemental Instruction Coordinator, and Coordinator for Academic Services and Student Success – Hickory to effectively balance general academic success initiatives alongside course-specific support.
- Facilitate classroom workshops, at the request of faculty members, on general academic success (time management, organization, study strategies, etc.)
- Represent the Student Learning Center as a member of committees; participate actively in student-focused and community-oriented campus activities including outreach/public relations opportunities.
- Actively participate in Student Learning Center staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule/Hours:Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Suggested Salary Range: $51,500-57,500
