Job Summary
The Wildcat Wheels Bike Shop Manager oversees daily operations of the university’s bicycle program.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to managing the university bike fleet, coordinating repairs and rentals, maintaining accurate inventory records, and administering programs such as the student bike rental lottery and mobile bike repair services. The manager supervises student staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, payroll oversight, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
The position would also support campus sustainability and transportation demand management efforts through outreach, workshops, and engagement events that promote cycling and alternative transportation. Additional duties include maintaining bike infrastructure data, assisting with bicycle counts and reporting, coordinating with campus committees, and supporting planning and evaluation of bicycle facilities and programs.

Preferred experience working in a bike shop or managing a bicycle shop or fleet.
