The School of Education (SOE) at Loyola University Chicago invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track position in the Applied
Behavior Analysis (ABA) program. While the academic program is offered online, the responsibilities of this position require the individual
to be physically present on campus for meetings, events, and other program-related activities.

The main responsibilities
of
the selected candidate include the following:


  • Maintain a 4/3 teaching load (teaching four courses in the fall and three
    in the
    spring, on average) of graduate courses in the ABA program.
  • Develop and revise course materials to ensure alignment with
    ABAI
    accreditation standards
  • Supervise students completing capstone projects
  • Join and support efforts to address social
    justice through anti-racism and other efforts.
  • Maintain and enhance existing partnerships with schools and community
    agencies.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration to prepare accreditation materials
  • Participate in curriculum
    review and program evaluation to ensure continuous improvement
  • Engage in service activities such as committee participation,
    program meetings, recruitment events, and student support initiatives

Minimum Education:

  • Earned
    doctoral degree in
    Applied Behavior Analysis or closely related field
  • Licensed behavior specialist in Illinois (or eligible for
    licensure)
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D)

Preferred Education:


  • 5+
    years of experience as a practicing behavior analyst
  • Experience supervising behavior analyst practicum students and/or
    interns
  • Experience supporting accreditation or program
    development initiatives

Anticipated start date is July 1,
