Description
The Assistant to the Director of Personnel Services and Workplace Safety
provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Director within a fast-paced, confidential office environment. This
position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism, as well as the ability to manage multiple
priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive personnel information.
The ideal candidate is dependable,
detail-oriented, and efficient, with strong clerical and computer skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume office
setting.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Personnel Services and Workplace Safety.
- Perform
accurate data entry and maintain well-organized physical and electronic filing systems. Duties may involve bending, stooping, lifting,
labeling, and alphabetizing files. - Assist with onboarding processes, including posting job vacancies, tracking applications, and
preparing onboarding materials. - Maintain employee personnel files in accordance with confidentiality and records retention
requirements. - Prepare correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
Outlook). - Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and confidential personnel information.
- Coordinate schedules,
appointments, and meetings as needed. - Answer and transfer telephone calls, taking and relaying messages,
professionally. - Assist with processing forms, documentation, and required approvals.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities
while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment.
Standard Working Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00
p.m.
Salary: $2,650.00 per month.
Start Date: May 11, 2026.
Closing Date: April 26, 2026, or open until filled.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- One (1) year
of office or computer-related experience, which must include filing and data entry experience. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office
applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Supplemental Information
