Description

Reporting to the Assistant Provost and Executive Director, the Part-time Secretary sits at the front desk of the Saltzman Center during evening hours. The person in this role must take payments, record payments, and give patients receipts where appropriate. They must handle client telephone inquiries and direct messages to the appropriate parties. They interact with clients, students, and administrators from all four training clinics.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Opens or closes the building (depending on the day) or calls public safety to assist.
  • Answers the telephone and directs calls to the appropriate clinics.
  • Takes messages for student clinicians, supervisors, and administrators.
  • Takes payments from clients from all clinics.
  • Processes payments from Clinic Trackers for clients who are seen through telehealth.
  • Assists on Saturday mornings with the Reading Writing Learning clinic.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required and prior related experience.
  • Ability to interact professionally with the public to explain the services offered by our clinics, and to accept payments as needed.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Programs.
  • Proficiency or ability to learn QuickBooks.
  • Ability to learn the Electronic Health Record System (My Best Practice) and the electronic payment system PaySimple.
