DESCRIPTION:

The Program Coordinator in the Testing and
Assessment Services office (TAS) serves potential, new, and current students at Edmonds College (EdC). Typical work includes serving as a
proctoring administrator for WaMap tests, the Accuplacer/LOEP, Class Make-Up exams, TEAS, and GED. Resolve any Directed Self-Placement (DSP)
and ProctorVue/Meazure Learning issues/concerns. Other responsibilities include providing technical assistance, and training to staff and
faculty on matters pertaining to the Testing processes. Help students in person, over phone, email, and on Zoom. This position reports to
the.

This is a permanent part-time classified position reporting to the Associate Dean/Assistant Registrar of Admissions & Enrollment
Services

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Administer and proctor placement
    tests and exams including: Accuplacer, LOEP, TEAS, and Chemistry tests, make-up exams, and interpret multiple measures in order to place
    students
  • Enter data into ctcLink, shared google spreadsheets, and other applications as needed
  • Evaluate test scores and
    transcripts from high school, colleges, universities and track them into the ctcLink in a timely manner so that students can register for
    the appropriate courses
  • Serve as a resource to students, staff, and faculty for testing policies and procedures
  • Provide
    high quality customer services
  • Proctor makeup tests, Chemistry placement and challenge tests for English and
    Math
  • Coordinate with Office of International Programs to test new international students
  • Proctor GED
    testing
  • Maintain ACCUPLACER, LOEP, and other forms and test samples
  • Provide testing results and procedures by phone/emails
    in a professional manner
  • Answer phone, email, and cover Testing Center Zoom hours
  • Provide training on testing policies,
    rules and procedures to staff and faculty from different departments on campus as necessary
  • Other duties as
    assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma and customer service experience
    sufficient to successfully perform essential job functions
  • One year of experience working in a higher education
    environment
  • Proficiency with technology tools including: Zoom, Word, Excel, Access, databases, Google Docs, and
    Gmail
  • Evidence of or potential for student-centered customer service approach, outstanding interpersonal skills, organizational
    skills and attention to detail

DESIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Experience proctoring exams/tests
  • Experience with
    PeopleSoft/ctcLink
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and work well with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to identify and
    problem-solve challenges and issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Demonstrated work experience in and
    commitment to work effectively with a student body with varying levels of preparation and diverse goals (transfer, workforce, fulfilling
    high school graduation requirements, and enrichment)

PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:


Work is
typically performed in an office setting, and onsite/in-person. The majority of work will be required to be completed on campus, with a
possible (and subject to change) one day per week remote from home option. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are
essential. This includes the ability to speak clearly and fully comprehend written and spoken English and will include communication with
people for whom English is not a native language.


WORK SCHEDULE:

This is a permanent
part-time classified position for a 16 hours per week schedule. Monday through Thursday from 10AM-2PM.


COMPENSATION:



Salary range 40. Beginning salary is $1,390.8 – $1,564/month for a 16 hour per week schedule, with progressive
increases to $1,852.8. This position is not eligible for benefits. Paid PTO/Sick leave on an accrual
basis.
