Work Schedule:
Flexible during regular office hours; one evening until 7:00 p.m.
Rate of Pay:
This is a Part-Time
Support Staff position at grade 13, with an hourly pay rate of $23.10 to $30.00. The offer will be based on education and experience, in
alignment with the College’s compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.

Job Summary:
The Scholarship & Work-Study Specialist III is responsible for
administering all internal and external scholarships, vouchers, and student employment programs, including Federal Work-Study. Oversees
award selection, eligibility verification, budget reconciliation, and compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies. Provides
guidance to students on scholarships and work-study, manages onboarding processes, and leads financial literacy initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. Associate degree with a minimum of two years of relevent experience
in or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
2. Considerable skill in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including but
not limited to Word, Excel, Access and Publisher
3. Considerable skill in organizing work to meet established deadlines while maintaining
attention to detail.
4. Working skill in interpersonal interaction to be applied to a variety of individuals with differing education,
ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
5. Working skills in verbal and written communication.
6. Working skill in operating a personal
computer, applicable software and peripheral equipment as well as learning and adapting to new and updated programs and technology.
7.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when required by the department’s needs.

1. Previous work experience in financial aid office
Essential
Duties:
1. Evaluate and award Board of Trustee Scholarships, Foundation Scholarships, private scholarships and vouchers
2. Reconcile and adjust scholarships, work-study, and voucher amounts
3. Review and monitor eligibility for private scholarships,
Foundation and Board of Trustee Scholarship
4. Process student employee new hire paperwork including ordering and reviewing background
checks
5. Ensure eligibility for student workers and work study budget
6. Conduct presentations and attend award banquets
7.
Conduct One on one meetings with students.
9. Maintains confidentiality of privileged information and adheres to applicable privacy
laws
10. Demonstrates sensitivity, understanding and respect of diverse populations within the workplace.
11. Maintains an
understanding of the work of colleagues to effectively provide backup and/or support for co-workers during times when the division is
short-staffed or experiencing an increased volume of work.
12. Adheres to department guidelines for attendance and punctuality
