About the Job


Job Duties:

Assistance in studio and professional activities:

  • Building stretchers, panels, and crates for paintings
  • Priming canvases
  • Photoshop/ Projector/ source image/ drawing preparation
  • Tracing using a projector
  • Color palette mixing assistance
  • Packaging work for shipment
  • Organizing painting and supply storage
  • Help lifting crates, loading to and from truck


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical proficiencies in drawing, painting, and digital software like Photoshop or Procreate
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and move wooden crates up to 200 pounds with a team of two to three people

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree in Art
  • Completed a professional practices art course

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $20-$21/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
