The University of North Carolina-Greensboro, School of Dance seeks a Dance Technical Coordinator for a full-time 9 month appointment to
oversee all production aspects for the school. The successful candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the technical and
artistic aspects of lighting and production for dance and possess strong artistic collaboration skills. Primary duties will include
designing lights for faculty and student choreographic works, instructing undergraduate and graduate Dance Production courses, and managing
undergraduate student stage crew practicums.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Undergraduate
degree and two years of professional production experience. All degrees received must
be received from appropriately accredited
institutions.



  • Working experience instructing post-secondary or college-level
    students.
  • Experience with production
    organization and management, including scheduling student labor and prioritizing work for
    multiple projects.
  • Operating and
    maintaining stage lighting and lighting systems.
  • Operating and maintaining stage
    sound and sound systems.
