Short Description Assumes responsibility for record keeping, and intra-departmental and Inter-departmental communications. Overview Kelemen 8 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses,  illnesses  and disease processes.

North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges.   Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients.

The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room.   There is a pharmacist present on the unit to  assist  the RNs with medication questions/concerns.

Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family.   Experience Required Previous hospital unit secretary, medical office assistant or medical records experience preferred.

Additional unit-specific qualification may be required. Clerical, communication and customer service experience a plus.

Education Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Special Requirements Part-time days, EVERY OTHER WEEKEND, SAT & SUN, 7AM-7PM
