Georgia State website managers use WordPress to serve
content to a range of external audiences to achieve a dynamic set of goals. Working across a multitude of mediums including audio, text and
video, website content is largely controlled by a web manager who creates and manages digital materials to dynamically present new and fresh
information to possibly hundreds of thousands of interested visitors.

We’re looking for an individual who possess many technical and interpersonal
skills as their job activities continually bounce between the configuration aspects of WordPress and important collaborative institutional
relationships with others at the university. We value people who are additive to the culture of a small and nimble team who defines

The right candidate is expected to be proficient in their field and is

the University System and Georgia State University.
HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Daily, the website
managers will work with others who manage marketing, communication, and outcomes assessment in support of the vision, mission and strategic
plan of their academic units. This requires meaningful contribution to the planning of market communications and promotional strategies,
content distribution, feedback, event activities, and materials that support the array of services provided. Often the execution of this
work will include mutually supportive cross communications of the various service units available throughout the university that support
academic units as well. - Work includes the preparation and updates material for assigned academic websites and electronic message
center(s) and prepares e-mail announcements for the dissemination of information to University Relations to share with the University
community and beyond. The role builds content, coordinates reviews and executes distribution within specified internal and external
deadlines. Prepares, reviews, edits, and analyses a variety of reports. - Website managers work closely with the central digital
operations team to meet institutional objectives. Coordinates with PR and Marketing Communications personnel, as applicable, regarding
appropriate and valid use of assets in matters pertaining to official University marks, photography, video or writing
standards. - Assist others in some writing, editing, and publishing of informational articles on digital platforms. This can include
the preparation of news releases and articles for the University’s news hub, and other media, as applicable. Represents and promotes the
digital team in various meetings and among a broad-based constituency including presentations at learning sessions, new department
orientations, staff programs, and events, etc.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business field and three years of
enterprise level content manage system experience or a combination of education and related experience.
