sound technical expertise and strong decision-making. Independently performs complex, high-impact work under minimal supervision, exercising
exceptional judgment to evaluate risks, prioritize competing demands, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that protect the
stability, integrity, and availability of enterprise database systems.

Responsibilities
Database Administrator III
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible
for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of enterprise database platforms.

This role manages database
monitoring, health checks, alert response, performance tuning, storage and capacity planning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery,
encryption, user access controls, and audit compliance.


The DBA partners closely with application teams and business stakeholders to
provision databases, support ServiceNow requests, perform data refreshes, troubleshoot issues, and maintain service
availability.

Additionally, the position works on platform modernization initiatives through automation, cloud adoption,
virtualization, and the implementation of database upgrades, patches, and vulnerability remediation to ensure a secure, efficient, and
highly resilient database environment.

Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY
STATEMENT:
1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree
= 4 years of directly related work experience).


Database Administrator, III: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency)
+ 6 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.

  • Database Administration: SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
  • Cloud: AWS, Azure,
    GCP, OCI
