Data Analyst III plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data
within Tulane University. This position’s primary responsibility is to assess and improve data quality across various systems, databases,
and processes, focusing primarily on student data. The Data Analyst III collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish data quality
standards, implement quality control measures, and develop strategies to address data inconsistencies or errors. Analytical skills and a
strong attention to detail are essential in identifying data quality issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in
data.
- Familiarity with data quality management principles, practices, and industry standards.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent
problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate
effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
with 2 years of relevant experience
OR
- High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 6 years of proven experience as a
Data Analyst or in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data
integration techniques.
- Familiarity with business intelligence platforms such as Cognos, PowerBI, etc.
- Experience with data quality tools and data profiling software.
