Job Duties
- Performs a variety of complex payroll and
attendance functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification and reconciliation of employee leave information, payroll
records, and payment of funds for contract. - Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and
reconcile payroll discrepancies. - Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information into designated
records. - Process application material for Spartan Patrollers and Contractual Security Service Officers.
- Prepare onboarding
and separation documents, maintain records, reports, and files on medical leave, workman’s compensation, and timekeeping
records.
Minimum Qualifications
- Working knowledge of payroll policies and procedures
- Demonstrated
ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing - Demonstrated ability to interpret leave and timekeeping
procedures. - Demonstrated ability to create complex spreadsheets
- Working knowledge and experience in general and payroll
accounting - Skilled in the use of automated timekeeping systems and software.
- Working knowledge of regulations and laws
related to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) - Experience providing a high level of customer service and communication to both
internal and external customers and stakeholders - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and
deadlines
Additional Considerations
Demonstrated experience working with Cardinal Peoplesoft strongly
preferred.
