Job Description
Summary

Under the direction of the Supervisor of the Testing Center on Main Campus, the Part-Time Test Administrator is
responsible for overseeing and proctoring exams in the college’s Testing Center, and remotely, to ensure a secure, professional, and
distraction-free environment. This includes verifying student identification, explaining testing procedures, monitoring test-takers during
exams, and upholding academic integrity and confidentiality protocols. The administrator will also assist with scheduling, maintaining
accurate records, and providing support to students with accommodations.



Minimum Qualifications

Required:
* High School Diploma or Equivalency
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent
computer skills.
* Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
* Strong observation skills.



Language
Skills:

* Analyze and interpret both verbal and written communications; respond coherently.
* Respond to common inquiries or
complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members
of the business community.
* Present information effectively to top
management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical skills/Reasoning and Ability:
* Perform basic
mathematical operations in problem-solving/ develop and compile statistical
information that will require various mathematical
concepts.
* Maintain the ability to analyze, define problems, collect data, establish and evaluate facts,
draw valid conclusions and
make and implement decisions.

Essential Duties

  • Obtain and maintain the required certifications to administer exams offered by Testing
    Services
  • Provide excellent customer service to all faculty/staff, examinees, and external clients
  • Follow all FERPA
    regulations pertaining to the confidentiality of student records
  • Report any testing irregularities as required
  • Create a
    warm, welcoming, and secure testing environment
  • Maintain the accuracy and security of testing records
  • Build positive and
    collaborative relationships with coworkers
  • Participate in team meetings and serve on committees if requested
  • Provide
    approved accommodation as directed by the Accessibility Resources

  • The Test Administrator may need to lift and/or move equipment, tools or
    paperwork up to 25 pounds.
  • The Test Administrator may need to position themselves by reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching in
    order to adjust or collect equipment and/or supplies.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision,
    distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
