About the Department
and/or College

Major/Essential Functions


  • Safely transport TTU employees/students to their desired destinations in a
    professional manner while following all state and local traffic laws and university polices.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all
    Transportation policies and incident response protocols and respond and report incidents as they occur. Perform basic vehicle care and
    required fueling. Complete vehicle mileage and fuel logs after each use. Report any damage, abuse or maintenance issues immediately. Perform
    Pre- and Post-trip vehicle inspections daily.
  • Perform other duties required to carry out the mission of Texas Tech University and
    Transportation and Parking.

Required Qualifications
Ability to read and write equivalent to completion of the tenth grade
plus one year experience.


This position requires eligibility to drive TTU vehicles, including a valid U.S. driver license and two
years of driving experience.



Preferred Qualifications



Pay Range
$14.04 – $18.27 – $22.45
